For those who want a romantic side trip in Paphos a place to visit is the Baths of Aphrodite or fountain of love. The Baths of Aphrodite are located in Akamas area, near Polis, 45km north of Paphos.

The Baths are very difficult to access and can be reached only on foot or with a four-wheel drive vehicle.

These Baths looks like a rock - pool of a natural grotto, shaded by a fig tree. According to legend, the Greek goddess of beauty and love Aphrodite used to take her beauty baths in this area. Also according to another legend, beliefs if you visit her falls and swim in her waters will give you eternal youth.
